CURE International, Inc. is the missions outreach arm of FRONTLINE Ministries, Inc. Dr. C. Steven Shaffer founded CURE International in 1994 and has invested time and effort in Kingdom work around the world. Endeavors of CURE International currently provide financial aid for churches and missions in the Philippine Islands. The CURE team has treated tens of thousands of people medically, while ministering to them spiritually with the Word of God. Bible schools have also been established and built. Dr. Shaffer and his wife, Sandy, have been privileged to coordinate mission teams from churches all over the USA in an effort to facilitate the involvement of lay personnel in the rewarding work of foreign missions. Additionally, CURE International offers support to unwed mothers locally and hopes to start work with their newest opportunity in Haiti.
CURE Counseling & Assessment Training Centre, which was opened in 2006 in Newnan, Georgia, affords the Shaffer’s additional opportunity to continue ministering to individuals and families in a local setting and outside of the walls of a church building. Dr. Shaffer has counseled people for over forty years while in full-time ministry, and professionally since 2005. The Shaffer’s and their team provide services to multitudes of people in Newnan and the surrounding areas.
To further effect positive change in the lives of people through Christian ministry and counseling, Dr. and Mrs. Shaffer conduct HOPE & HELP Weekends in church settings, ancillary opportunities for individuals and couples to increase their knowledge and understanding of life skills and relational skills and the application of such for increased success in their daily lives.
